5 Ways to Make Money on the Internet

With lots of people out of work, many are going online to find ways to make money on the internet. In this article I'm going to talk about five different legitimate ways to make money on the internet.

Website buying, selling, and flipping is a big business. This entails buying existing websites and monetizing them for yourself or buying a website, monetizing it, and then selling it off to the highest bidder.



A lot of webmasters just don't understand what they have as often times I'll see websites which get hundreds of thousands of visitors and page views each month sell for just a couple or a few thousand dollars when they could be making that much each month with those kind of traffic numbers if only that webmaster knew how to do it. It's simpler than you think to track down advertising and monetize a website.

Secondly, content writing is also an evergreen topic for making money online because there are always webmasters looking for content for their websites. Content is king and how you get people to come to your website and how to rank your website well in the search engines, but a lot of webmasters either don't have the time or they simply don't have the experience to write their own content so many of them outsource this to content writers.

I personally used to do this myself and made $20 for a 400 word article at my best. If you can get down research and writing to a half an hour for a 400 word article like I was able to do, that's $40 an hour which you can start making right now.

Having experience in web design is very valuable when it comes to making money online because you can make attractive and unique website designs for webmasters who are always looking for something to make their sites stand out from the rest.

You can create your own designs and sell them en masse or you can sell them on order, either way you can make a lot of money if you have any kind of background in coding. I know some people who have taught themselves and have gotten by on just the basics for the very purpose of making websites and selling them.

Advertising is another great way to make money on the internet. This works by developing your own website and then covering it with advertisements, monetizing it with ads from advertisers in your related niche.

This is a great way to make money because you are getting paid to develop a website based on things which you are interested in essentially. After you develop a basic readership and fallfollowing online and start getting your traffic numbers up, you can showcase these numbers on your site to potential advertisers and can start bringing in the money right away as you start to fill up and sell ad space on their site.

Finally, affiliate marketing is my personal favorite way to make money on the internet because anyone can do it and you can again make money from any niche or topic of interest which you have. This is because there are affiliate products and services which are tied to virtually any niche you can think of; you can take exactly what you love and promote it to other people online and when they purchase whatever you're promoting because of your promotion, you get a piece of that sale called a commission and this can really add up when you start generating a lot of traffic towards these offers.
